There are over 200 different types of hibiscus and seven of those are native to Hawaii. Here are a few from around town.
This red one is growing in our yard.

We saw this hibiscus on the side of the road in Haleiwa and thought the red and white patches were pretty cool...

This one is a pink double hibiscus growing in our yard...when I first saw it I thought it was a carnation... :)

This pretty little hibiscus lives at the Dole Pineapple Plantation.
