Country Life

Driving down the ranch today we saw two peacocks fighting in the middle of the dirt road, their large bodies & wings seemed wild so early in the morning... they didn't separate until our expedition was right up on them... We noticed an egret watching on the side of the road....& then saw that three cows were on the left side of the road also watching the fight, we were laughing about it as we passed the peacocks & just as the road curved we saw that all the cows in the pasture on the right side of the road were facing towards the fight & crowded near the fence where they could see the two scrapping peacocks.  It was hilarious, memories of schoolyard high school fights came to mind....funny that animals have that same tendency to wanna watch the drama go down... Wonder what the peacocks were fighting about, it was 2 females & another female standing on the side...maybe one loss her BFF or maybe they were fighting over those handsome males :)
