I've learned that when breastfed babies make those loud explosive poops that go everywhere - up the back, up the front, out the sides & all over mom - it's not always that they made a big poop & therefore are feeling relieved / less gassy.... Often, like today, it's all about the angle or positiion your baby happens to be in... For example, today i was holding sweet Sequoia and her right leg was lifted on my arm, she gave a couple of grunts and the loudest poops ever, it came out the side and completely soaked my pink skirt :) It also went up the back and completely soaked her organic "dance to the beet" onesie. When I opened up her diaper expecting the mother load I saw that it was just a bit but based on the angle it had squirted to the right, up, and out :) Baby poop is fascinating.
